Piario is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 80 km northeast of Milan and about 30 km northeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 990 and an area of 1.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Piario contains the frazione (subdivision) Groppino.
Piario borders the following municipalities: Clusone, Parre, Villa d'Ogna.
