Physiphora is a genus of flies in the family Ulidiidae.[2]
Distribution
The distribution of this genus is largely African; there also a few endemic species found in the Oriental Region and Solomon Islands. Some species have been introduced into the The Americas and Australasia. The species P. alceae (Preyssler) is cosmopolitan.
