Physical urticaria

Physical urticarias represent a distinct subgroup of the urticarias that are induced by an exogenous physical stimulus rather than occurring spontaneously.[1]

The most common form of physical urticaria is dermatographism.[2]

One way of classifying physical urticarias is into thermal, mechanical and cholinergic sources.[3]
