Phycita poteriella is a species of snout moth. It is found in the Republic of Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Italy and Spain.[2] It has also been recorded from Israel[3] and Yemen.[4]
The larvae have been recorded feeding on Ricinus communis.[5]
