Phrynobatrachus cryptotis is a species of frog in the Petropedetidae family. It is endemic to Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, moist savanna, rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes.
