Phobaeticus is a genus of stick insects comprising over 25 species. It includes Phobaeticus chani, the longest known insect.[1]

The generic name of some species was formerly Pharnacia (e.g. Phobaeticus serratipes was formerly known as Pharnacia serratipes).
