Philippine Karatedo Federation

The Philippine Karatedo Federation (PKF) is the governing body of sport karate in the Philippines. Member of Asian Karatedo Federation with 39 affiliated countries in Asia and duly recognized by the World Karate Federation, the largest international governing body of sport karate with over 130 member countries worldwide.
Notable Karatekas
- Emma Henry - First prominent female law enforcement officer in the Philippines. A police lieutenant, she was proficient in judo and karate, sports not commonly associated with Filipino women in the early 1970s.
- Gretchen Malalad - 2005 Southeast Asian Games karate gold medalist and a former beauty pageant contestant in Binibining Pilipinas 2002 where she emerged Ms. Talent and Ms. Red Bull Supreme. She was also a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition.
