Phil Greco is the former head football coach (1987-1992) and athletic director (1987-1993) at Nicholls State University.
Greco is an alumnus of Tulane University. He has also been an assistant at Northeast Louisiana (assistant coach), Southern Mississippi (assistant coach) and Tulane serving as running backs coach in 1985 and tackles/tight ends coach in 1986. Prior to his college career, he was both an assistant and head football coach at the former F.T. Nicholls High School in New Orleans, Louisiana, assistant coach at both De La Salle High School in New Orleans, Louisiana and Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana and head football coach at East St. John High School in Reserve, Louisiana from 1978-1980. His 1980 team won the state championship with a 14-0 record.[1][2][3]
He is currently athletic director at Archbishop Rummel High School in Metairie, Louisiana.
