Phasianelloidea is a superfamily of sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks or micromollusks in the clade Vetigastropoda.
Taxonomy
Superfamily Phasianelloidea was created as new superfamily by Williams et al. (2008).[1]
This superfamily consists of two following families:[1]
- Colloniidae Cossmann, 1917
- Phasianellidae Swainson, 1840
- Family brought into synonymy
- Tricoliidae: synonym of the subfamily Tricoliinae
