Peureulak

Together with Samudera-Pasai, Perlak or Peureulak are the earliest port towns in Southeast Asia to be converted to Islam, believed to be as early as 9th century. The location of Pasai and Peureulak is in Indonesia's Sumatra, Aceh province, Lhokseumawe or Lokhseumawe.
