Petrus Shitembi

Petrus Shitembi is an attacking-midfielder who plays for University of Pretoria F.C. in the South African Premier Soccer League. He is one of Namibia's latest hottest property. He is left-footed and plays for the senior national soccer team.

Progressing through all junior levels and now playing in the senior national team in a space of four years, is what this young promising soccer player has achieved. Rundu Chiefs’ highly rated attacking midfielder Petrus Shitembi has, over the last few years, proved that he has the potential of becoming Namibia’s top soccer player after showing some good performances with his club and the national team.

He played in some matches in 2012, including the Brave Warriors 3–1 win during a German tour where he scored a brace against SV Herbern. He played a full match in the Brave Warriors recent loss to Morocco in a friendly on 12 January 2013.

Attacking midfielder Petrus Shitembi of Rundu Chiefs scored two goals before halftime to give Namibia a comfortable lead going at the break.

On 24 January 2013, he joined South African team University of Pretoria F.C. on a three-year deal.[1]
