Petru Soltan (June 29, 1931, Coşniţa) is a mathematician from Moldova. He is a member of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova[1] and an honorary member of the Romanian Academy.[2] Petru Soltan is a member of the Mathematical Society of Moldova.[3]

Petru Soltan served as member of the Parliament of Moldova (1990–1994)[4] and is a leader of the Democratic Forum of Romanians in Moldova.[5]
