Petra (Greek: Πέτρα) is a former municipality in Pieria regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Katerini, of which it is a municipal unit.[2] The population was 4,888 as of 2011.[1] The seat of the municipality was in Milia. Petra is also the name of a small settlement that is within the boundaries of the municipal unit, that had a population of 37 people as of 2011.[1]
