Petra (Greek: Πέτρα, Turkish: Petre, Taşköy) is a former intercommunal village, now largely destroyed and uninhabited, located in Northern Cyprus, east of the town of Lefka near the Green Line.
Originally inhabited by Greek Cypriots, since the Turkish invasion in 1974, the village has been solely inhabited and largely destroyed by Turkish troops.[1]
