Petar Božić (born December 6, 1978) is a retired Serbian professional basketball player and current assistant coach of Partizan Belgrade. He used to play at the point guardshooting guard position. Božić was well known for his defense and three-point shooting. He is Partizan player with the most played games in the history of the club. Božić is a part of Partizan Belgrade supporters All-decade Team.

Professional career

Early years

Before coming to Partizan Petar Božić was little known player. He started his professional career in KK Beobanka Beograd, playing there for three years.The next destionation was KK Radnički Jugopetrol. He stayed there for just one season (2000-01). The last club he played for before Partizan Belgrade was Hemofarm Vršac. Three seasons in Hemofarm recommended him for the first team of Partizan.

Partizan

Božić signed for KK Partizan in 2004 at the beginning of the season. In the same season he won the Serbian Super League with the club. Playing until the present day Božić became a club legend with most appearances for the club. He won over 17 trophies with Partizan and he is declared by the Partizan fans as a "professional trophy lifter".
