Persikad stands for Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Kota Depok (en: Football Association of Indonesia of Depok City). Persikad Depok is an Indonesian football club based in Depok, West Java. Club played in Liga Indonesia First Division. In season 2011–12 the club relegation to Second Division after finis in fifth placed in first stage group V in 2010 Liga Indonesia First Division.

PSBL Langsa stadium named Merpati Stadium. Its location was in downtown Depok, West Java.

History

In 2009, Persikad experiencing severe financial crisis that makes the management team to the players owed wages for 11 months. Luckily, a businessman named Edy Djoekardi rescue team by buying a majority stake in PT. Persikad Depok. As a result, ownership Persikad now in his hands. Edy Djoekardi plans to invest billions of dollars to build a team capable of performing up to the international scene, and to build infrastructure, such as stadiums.
