Persian-speakers of Afghanistan

Persians of Afghanistan make up about 50% of the population in the country, where Persian language is one of the official languages. Pashtu is the second official language after Persian Language. The Persian language is spoken by around 50% of the population, while Pashto is spoken and understood by around 35% of the population, mostly native Pashtu-speaker.
