Perondi is a municipality in Kuçovë District, Berat County, central Albania.[1]
Genereal information
Municipality of Perondi is biggest one of Kuçovë District, and it is located in south-east of the city of Kuçova. It has around 10 000 inhabitants and includes villages of; Perondi, Tapi, Rreth-Tapi, Magjate, Goraj, Velagosht, Drize dhe Dikater. Perondia is the primeval village in all region and it supposes it has been built since Byzantine Empire. The church in the center of Perondia belongs to 11th century. Fields of Perondia Municipality are rank, where grains are main voice of agricultural product. Farming is developed as well.
Chairman of Perondia Municipality is Mr. Rexhep Hajdari.
