Perkins Rowe is a large mixed use development in Baton Rouge, Louisiana that opened in early 2008. Perkins Rowe was developed by JTS Interests and the main architectural firm that designed the projects is Development Design Group. First announced in 2006 it contains two phases, both of which were completed in 2009.

Layout

Perkins Rowe in arranged in the style of a downtown district, with a grid street layout and continuous, multilevel buildings. The retail makes up the ground level occupants and above are three to four stories of apartments and condominiums. Hotel, medical, office, and parking space sit along the perimeter of the development.

Dining, Entertainment, and Retail

Perkins Rowe contains over 600,000 sq ft (56,000 m2) of upscale retail and eateries, anchored by Barnes & Noble, The Fresh Market, and a 16-screen Cinemark. A large square in the middle of the development acts as a gathering space for public events.

Medical and Office

The development contains two large offices venues, a 6 story office tower that sits above the Cinemark theater and the Neurmedical Center of Baton Rouge. There are several other small office spots along the edge.
