Periwinkle is a 1917 silent film directed by James Kirkwood. The film, now believed to be lost, had a generally negative reception. The New York Times called it "a minor melodrama".[1]
Plot
Periwinkle is a teenage waif. One day, she nearly drowns, but is rescued by the wealthy Richard. They fall in love and marry.
