The Red Groundling Moth or Pied Groundling Moth (Perigea xanthioides) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from Canada to Brazil and on Jamaica.[1]
The wingspan is about 29 mm.[2]
The larvae feed on Vernonia[3] and Eutrochium species.[4]
