Economy
A large number of mink farms are present in Peoa.[citation needed] The mink industry is the primary source of income for the citizens of Peoa who do not commute to either Salt Lake City or Park City to work.[citation needed] A comparison of data from the 2000 census with the known number of mink farms indicates the high probability that mink outnumber humans by at least 2 to 1.[citation needed] The mink farms also serve as a source of tension between the Summit County sheriff's department and animal rights activist groups.[citation needed] Air pollution from mink farming continues to be an environmental problem.[citation needed]
Peoa has basically two roads, one of which is called "Wooden Shoe Road." The name was given to that road because of an old shop that at one point sold wooden shoes.[citation needed] The other road is SR-32.
