Pedro Mairata Gual (born 15 January 1979 in Manacor, Balearic Islands) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for CD Atlético Baleares as a central defender.

Football career

Until the age of 26, Mairata played in the third division or lower, representing local CD Constancia, UD Las Palmas and Levante UD B. In 2005 he signed for Basque outfit SD Eibar in the second level, being regularly used but suffering relegation: even though the club produced the ninth-best defensive record in the league (45 goals in 42 matches), it ranked last.

After one year with UD Almería in the same level, contributing with 15 games to the Andalusia side's first ever promotion to La Liga, Mairata signed for Gimnàstic de Tarragona also in the "silver category". After six seasons with the club, five of those in division two, he was released.
