Pedakallēpalli is a village in Mopidevi mandal, in Diviseema taluk, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India. Pedakallepalli is also known as Dakshina Kasi (The Kasi of south). The village is located on the banks of Krishna River.

This is the land of many legendary personalities in the field of Freedom Fighters art and literature.

  • Sri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao began to learn music under Krishna Brahma Sastry, son of famous musician Susarla Dakshinamurthy at Pedakallepalli.
  • Sri Veturi Sundararama Murthy (b: January 29, 1936 - d:May 22, 2010),the eminent writer achieved the distinction of being the second lyricist from the Telugu film industry to get a national film award for his lyrics). He has penned more than 12000 Lyrics in Telugu movies.
  • Sri Kodali Raja Rao: The author of Sathakatrayam
  • Sri Kota Srinivasa Rao underwent schooling at Pedakallepalli

Famous Temples: Sri Durga Nageswara Swamy Temple : This is an ancient temple. This temple was built in A.C.1140. It was later renovated by Challapalli Raja, Sri Yarlagadda Kodanda Ramanna in 1782.
