Pedakakani is a village and a mandal in Guntur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is located in the suburban area of Guntur City towards North-East. Well known is this region as a pilgrimage place for three major religions:
- Sivalayam - Has a mentioning of this temple in puranas and sacred place for Hindus in this region. And puranas says that Bharadwaja muni stayed here during his journey towards south of India from Kasi.
- Darga - People believe that who ever visits this place on Fridays will be freed from all evil forces.
- Thota - one of the Christian religious place just like as ' TIRUNALLA' to get some healing in andhra
- There are few Believers' Assemblies one from NT base pattern established( Brother Bhakt Singh ) at the locality of Hindu Temple road at water tank opposite road.A small Prayer house will be planned to erect and for to believers worship of God.
The village is divided by the National Highway #5 and is 8km from the district headquarters. [1]
