Pazhou Station (Chinese: 琶洲站) is a station of Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 June 2003. It is located at the underground of Xingang East Road (Chinese: 新港东路) in Pazhou, Haizhu District, with Shangri-La Hotel Pazhou [1][2] and Guangzhou International Convention Exhibition Center (the main venue for Canton Fair)[3] nearby.[4]
Before the extension to both lines 2 and 8 opened in September 2010, this station ran as part of Line 2 as a single Line from Wanshengwei to Sanyuanli.[5]
