Pawqarqucha (Quechua pawqar multi-coloured, qucha lake, lagoon,[1] "multi-coloured lake", hispanicized spelling Paucarcocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Lima Region, Yauyos Province, Tanta District.[2] It is situated at a height of about 4,222 metres (13,852 ft), about 6.5 km long and 0.87 km at its widest point. Pawqarqucha lies south of the Paryaqaqa mountain range, between the lake P'itiqucha in the northwest and the lakes Pisququcha and Ch'uspiqucha in the southeast.
