Pawłowice [pavwɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German Pawlowitz) is a large village in Pszczyna County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Pawłowice.[1] It lies approximately 17 kilometres (11 mi) west of Pszczyna and 38 km (24 mi) south-west of the regional capital Katowice.
The village has a population of 9,929 making it the third largest village in Poland.
