Paulo António da Silva Ribeiro (born 6 June 1984 in Setúbal) is a Portuguese footballer plays for G.D. Chaves in the Portuguese third division, as a goalkeeper.

Football career

After emerging through local side Vitória de Setúbal's youth ranks and making his first division debuts on 31 January 2005, in a 1–1 away draw against Sporting Clube de Portugal, Ribeiro joined country powerhouse F.C. Porto in the summer of 2005.[1] During his two season-spell he could never manage more than be third-choice, only appearing in pre-season; he also spent two years on loan in the second level.

In the 2009 summer, Ribeiro was released by Porto and joined lowly F.C. Vizela. After only one season he signed with Leixões SC, freshly relegated to division two, only managing to appear twice in the league during his only season (four official matches in total) and being released by the Matosinhos outfit.
