Paula Newsome is an American film and television actress.

Career

Newsome began having an interest in acting as a child performing in community theater, before moving to New York City. While in New York, she was cast in a number of Broadway productions.[1] She went on to guest star in a number of notable television series namely, Chicago Hope, Law & Order, Ally McBeal, Dharma & Greg, ER, Heroes, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Parenthood, FlashForward,[2] The New Adventures of Old Christine and a few other series. In addition to having recurring roles in City of Angels, NYPD Blue and The Lyon's Den.

From 2007–2008, she co-starred in the ABC drama Women's Murder Club opposite Angie Harmon.

Newsome has also appeared in the feature films Straight Talk, Little Miss Sunshine, Guess Who and Reign Over Me.
