Paul Stanford Thompson (born May 25, 1961[1]) is a former American basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association. Thompson was originally drafted in the third round of the 1983 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 1985, Thompson was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks for two draft picks. Later in the year, he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers after being waived by the Bucks.
