Paul Harriss

The Honourable Andrew Paul Harriss (born 11 August 1954) is an independent member of the Tasmanian Legislative Council in the Electoral division of Huon.

First elected in May 1996 and re-elected in both 2002 and 2008, Harriss is a conservative independent within the council. His term expires in May 2014.

He stood as a Liberal candidate in the 1996 Tasmanian election. He narrowly lost out to independent Bruce Goodluck in the Division of Franklin.

In November 2013, Harriss announced his intention to stand as a Liberal candidate for the 2014 Tasmanian election in the Division of Franklin.[1]
