Paul H. Harvey

Paul H. Harvey CBE FRS (born 19 January 1947) is a British evolutionary biologist. He is Professor of Zoology and was head of the zoology department at Oxford University from 1998 - 2011, holding these posts in conjunction with a professorial fellowship at Jesus College, Oxford.[1] He was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal Society in 1992. In 1997 Harvey was awarded the NAS Award for Scientific Reviewing from the National Academy of Sciences.[2] He was the Secretary of the Zoological Society of London.

He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2008 Birthday Honours.[3]
