Patricia Smith "Patsy" Ticer (born January 6, 1935) is an American politician. A Democrat, she was mayor of Alexandria, Virginia from 1991 to 1996, when she began service in the Senate of Virginia. She served until her retirement, having decided against seeking re-election in November 2011.[1]
