André Patry

André Patry (November 22, 1902–June 20, 1960, age 57) was a French astronomer.

Patry was orphaned at a young age, and began working at the Observatoire de Nice aged 17. He studied asteroids and discovered several himself. The Asteroid 1601 Patry is named after him.
