Patrick Haemers

Patrick Haemers (2 November 1952 – 14 May 1993) was a Belgian criminal. He was head of the gang which kidnapped former Belgian prime minister Paul Vanden Boeynants from January 14, 1989 to February 13, 1989. Haemers hanged himself on a 130 cm high radiator in a Belgian jail cell in 1993.

Other members of the Haemers Gang were Kapllan Murat (the Handcuff-King), (Trigger-Finger) Basri Bajrami, Denise Tyack and Philippe Lacroix.
