Patrick Bruders is an American musician. He is from El Paso, Texas.He is best known for having been the bassist of the blackened death metal band Goatwhore from 1997 to 2004.

From 2005 until 2013, he was the bassist for the seminal sludge metal band, Crowbar.[1] In 2008, he joined Eyehategod side project, Outlaw Order and began live bass duties for the band, but has since parted ways with the group. He began touring as live bassist with New Orleans heavy metal supergroup Down in early 2011, Replacing former bassist Rex Brown and has since been confirmed as a permanent member, performing bass duties live and in the studio.

Patrick Bruders has noted that his father records were when he started gaining interest in bass noting that Steve Harris, Geezer Butler, Jack Bruce, Waylon Jennings, John Paul Jones, Geddy Lee, Felix Pappalardi, all as a major influence on his playing style. Incorporating all with his own for a unique style of play.
