Pathakhera
History: Pathakhera was an dense Forest Area in year 1960-70. This is a part of "Satapura Valley". Most of us heard the poems of "Satpura ke Ghane Jungle" mean " Densed forest of Satapura" in our childhood books. This is approx 68 KM far from the its District - Betul (MadhyaPradesh). When Coal India & state govt envisaged the Availability of Coal and water resources in this area, they built an Power Plant near this area apprxomate 4 km from Pathakhera. Area named Sarni, it was also an village at that moment.
The Mines were opened in these area for facilitate the Coal to Sarni Thermal Power Plant.Pathakhera (Pathakheda) is a town in the municipality of Sarni in the Betul District, Madhya Pradesh, India. There Are 8 Coalmine Of Western coalfields limited (A Subsidiary of Coal India Limited). It comes under satpura area in MP.
Nearby Sarni is home to the largest power plant in MP, contributing to approximately 70% of total electricity supply of Madhya Pradesh. Pathakhera looks like mini india because people living in this place belong to different different state.
