Patrick 'Fox' Maher (born 1872) was an Irish hurler who played as a goalkeeper for the Kilkenny senior team.[1]

Maher made his first appearance for the team during the 1893 championship and became a regular player over the next decade. During that time he won one All-Ireland winner's medal and eight Leinster winner's medals. He is regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of the early years of the championship.

At club level, Maher enjoyed a successful career with Tullaroan, winning five county club championship winners' medals.[2]
