Party (Chinese: 独唱团, literally means "the solo choir/chorus") is a literary magazine created and edited by Han Han. Since its launch at July-6-2010, the first issue have been sold at least 800, 000 and also hit the top one in Amazon China.[1] The original name of the magazine was Renaissance, which was replaced by Party due to the censorship.[2]
History
- May-01-2009, Han Han wrote an article on his blog to announce the idea to found a new magazine and requested for articles;
- July-06-2010, Party (first issue) was officially launched.
- July-28-2010, the millionth copy of the first issue entered circulation
- Aug-30-2010, The 2nd issue will be released.
