Park Road, Buxton

Park Road is a cricket ground in Buxton, England where the Derbyshire first XI played between 1923 and 1986. The ground’s biggest claim to fame was in 1975, when the second day’s play of the County Championship match against Lancashire was wiped out due to snow. An article on that match can be found in the May 2008 edition of the Wisden Cricketer magazine. Lancashire have provided opposition for 26 of the 48 first-class games at the ground.
