Park Ju Hyun (Hangul: 박주현; Hanja: 朴珠泫; born November 29, 1986[1]), commonly known by her stage name Juhyun, is a South Korean idol rapper, dancer, actress. She is a member of the Korean girl group Spica, which debuted under B2M Entertainment in 2012.

Biography

Juhyun was born in South Korea on November 29, 1986. She attended Ilshin Girls' Commercial High School. Before debuting, she was a magazine model and commercial film model. She had a dream of becoming an artist when she was a teenager. Therefore, she started auditioning at agency companies in 2000. She auditioned to be a part of DSP Media in 2007, then left the agency company due to personal circumstances. She spent more than ten years switching from five different agency companies.

In 2010, she moved to B2M Entertainment and became a trainee. Since then, she finally caught the chance to become an artist. After training for a year, She has been involved in acting and modeling such as starring in Heo Young Saeng's music video "Let It Go".[2] She also performed as the guest rapper on the live performances of the song.

Then on December 2011, it announced that she will be finally making her debut with a girl group Spica and will be mentored by Lee Hyori who is now under the same agency as well. The group made its official debut on February 8, 2012.
