Paolo Rossi Barnard (2 January 1958) is an Italian journalist and documentary maker.

Biography

Born in Bologna, Italy, after his Bachelor Degree in Psychology, he began his media career at RAI TV program Samarcanda. He later was co-founder of popular program Report for RAI TRE then he moved to Rai Educational.[1][2]

He was correspondent for the main Italian newspapers such as la La Stampa, Il Manifesto, Corriere della Sera, Il Mattino, La Repubblica, etc.

As an author he has written books on terrorism in the Middle East conflicts and the health system in Italy.[3]

In 2011, Barnard has been concerned with monetary fundamentals of the present economical crisis, especially in Italy. His discoveries, published on Barnard's website, led to the organization of the first Italian meeting on Modern Money Theory, held on February 25th-27th, 2012 in Rimini.
