Pamela Druckerman
Pamela Druckerman is an author and freelance journalist living in Paris, France.
Biography
Druckerman is the author of Bringing Up Bébé (The Penguin Press: 2012),[1] which was published in the United Kingdom under the title French Children Don't Throw Food (Doubleday UK: 2012),[2] and Lust In Translation (The Penguin Press: 2007).[3] Her Op-eds and articles have appeared in The New York Times,[4][5][6] The Washington Post,[7][8] Marie Claire, Monocle and elsewhere. From 1997 to 2002 she was a staff reporter at The Wall Street Journal. She has a BA in philosophy from Colgate University and a master's degree from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
Lust, along with several accompanying magazine and blog pieces, examined the nature of infidelity in marriage. Druckerman has asserted that North America is the worst place to have an extramarital affair, because of the high degree to which Americans expect honesty from their committed partners, and observed that the French attitude towards such affairs is more understanding of adultery. [9]
Druckerman was nominated as one of the Time 100 most influential people of 2012.[10]
