Pamekasan on Madura Island is a regency (kabupaten) of East Java, Indonesia. It shares its borders with Sumenep (East), Java Sea (North), and Sampang (West). It borders the Madura Starit to the south.

Pamekasan is located approximately 120 km east of Surabaya.

Demographics

The population comprises Madurese, Javanese, and Chinese Indonesians.
