Future Expansion

A feasibility study is investigating the expansion of Palmwoods station to include a new and improved station with two platforms on a higher speed, dual track alignment. The proposed site of the new station is on the east side of the current platform. There is also a new bridge to be built over the Woombye Palmwoods Rd. This upgrade is expected to be built post 2020.
