Palm Beach is a tourism district about 6 kilometers northwest of Oranjestad, the capital of Aruba. A number of high rise hotels are located here, such as Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino, Aruba Marriott Resort, Occidental Grand Aruba and Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa. A shopping district adjacent to the hotels was finished in 2009.
Various time-share ownership and full-time ownership condos have been and are being built in the area.
Together with neighbouring Eagle Beach to the south, the beach placed seventh on TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice 2013 list of best beaches in the world.[1]
