Pakistanis in India

Pakistanis in India include Pakistani Hindus and Sikhs seeking Indian citizenship,[1] as well as Pakistani citizens working, studying and living in India and other people of Pakistani descent in India. There are also an estimated 761 Pakistanis who are held in Indian jails. The majority of them have already completed their sentence.[2]

- Veena Malik, Pakistani actress working in the Indian television and film industry
- Adnan Sami, Mumbai based Canadian musician of Pakistani descent active in Bollywood and the Indian music industry
- Ram Singh Sodho, former member of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh[3]
- Aatish Taseer, author and journalist; son of Indian journalist Tavleen Singh and slain former Punjab governor Salman Taseer
