The Pakistan Observer is an English-language daily newspaper published in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore. The newspaper was founded in 1988 by MR Zahid Malik

Origins

The newspaper was started on 1 November 1988.The news paper is now led by Zahid MALIK and his 3 sons and a daughter Faisal Zahid Malik, Gauhar Zahid Malik,Omar Malik, Sadia Zahid Malik.The news paper celebrated its 24th birthday this year.The head office is in the capital city Islamabad and it has 4 other office in Karachi, lahore, Peshawar,and muzafarabad. Air Commodore (Retd) Khalid Iqbal is the lead current affairs analyst of this newespaper.He focuses on international security.

Circulation and publication

Although not in the league of Dawn or The News International   Pakistan's two other widely read English-language newspapers  it is popular among its readers. It is published from Pakistan's major cities, including its metropolis. It has been continuously published ever since it was started in 1988.
