Pacific States University is a private university in Harvard Heights, Los Angeles California, U.S. and member of ACICS . Founded in 1928 as an independent private institution, it has provided an education in the fields of business, and computer science to more than 10,000 graduates.
Institutions
A faculty of about 89 professors serve as of school year 2008. The student body is drawn from the United States and 40 other countries. Facilities include classrooms, computer laboratories with Internet access.
The library which houses more than 15,000 volumes and subscribes to over 50 periodical, and professional journals. It provides computer services through its Internet terminals. Students have access to Melvyl, which is the online catalog network for the campuses of the University of California. Other university libraries, as well as the Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL), make their materials available to students.
Campus
The main campus is centered on Southern California in central west and extends into the surrounding Harvard Heights, Los Angeles, California neighborhood. Lies on South western Avenue The campus contains the central administrative offices and main library of the university, and the majority of the freshman dormitories.
